Event Management literally refers to the application of the management science for the development of festivals and events. Event management industry now includes a host of events of various stature and magnitude from the Olympics down to a breakfast meeting for ten business people. Every industry, charity, society and group will hold events of some type or size in order to market themselves, raise money or celebrate. Here in comes in the role of event mangers who usually plan and execute the event. Our job sometimes not only entails behind the scene running of the event but they are also involved in brand building and PR sometimes.
